Dougie’s is a delightful and welcoming Bistro and Wine Lounge. Our menu is seasonally-influenced with everything home made on the premises. Join us from Wednesday to Saturday for a light lunch and slice of cake, topped of with a range of hot and cold drinks, or come to our cosy evening Bistro service where you can enjoy an 8 course set menu with carefully selected Wine pairing to complement the meal.

Everything on our menu is created using ingredients directly from our deli and ranges from simple lunch dishes such as pate with toasted rye bread from Hambleton bakery served with Barrowby red current jelly to Antipasti deli boards served with roasted vegetables, olives, stuffed sweet peppers and charcuterie. We still offer Afternoon Teas which need to booked 24hrs in advance.

The Bistro offers an intimate dining experience in warm and cosy surroundings. The format is always a set menu with 8 courses (including coffee and petit fours) based on the freshest local ingredients of the season. We have joined forces with Weaver’s Wines (Nottingham) to offer an extensive wine list and a carefully selected wine pairing to complement your meal. Dietary preferences and requirements are easily accommodated along with likes and dislikes - if you don't fancy one or two of the courses on the set menu, please speak to our chef who will be delighted to offer a bespoke alternative for you in keeping with that month’s menu. Wine Lounge - we have created a lovely, comfortable seating lounge area for you to come and enjoy an evening out where you can choose from our full wine list, bottled beers, bottled ciders, or choose one of our selection of Gins or other spirits. If you would like something to eat alongside this, we now offer a range of Petits Plats served in a Tapas style.
